The show behind the set

The X-Files ran on Fox from 1993 to 2018, pairing David Duchovny's believer Fox Mulder with Gillian Anderson's scientist Dana Scully as FBI agents investigating cases no rational explanation could close. It defined 1990s genre television. To announce the set, Anderson appeared in a purpose-shot mini-film that plays the reveal as a Scully investigation.

From fan idea to shelf

The model began as a LEGO Ideas submission by fan designer Brent Waller ("WetWired"), which won the platform's 90s nostalgia challenge and was greenlit for production. The build centres on Mulder's basement office, topped by a forest clearing where a UFO hovers on a clear support. The office interior is dense with detail and its desktop sections lift out so you can explore inside.

Eight minifigures

The line-up covers the show's core and its oddities: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, Flukeman, and a grey alien.
