LEGO has revealed 21582 Chicken Jockey, a 344-piece Minecraft set arriving 1 August 2026 at a US RRP of $29.99 — turning one of the game's rarest and most chaotic mobs into a sticker-free brick build.
What is a Chicken Jockey?
In Minecraft, a Chicken Jockey spawns only very rarely — a baby zombie riding a chicken. The absurd combination punches well above its weight as a threat, and it became a genuine fan meme, riding a fresh wave of popularity after A Minecraft Movie.
What you build
The 344-piece set recreates the moment in brick form, with three buildable figures:
- A baby zombie with ball-joints at the legs, arms and head, so it's fully poseable
- A chicken with moving wings and legs
- A separate chick
The baby zombie clips straight onto studs on the chicken's back to strike the classic jockey pose. As is the LEGO Minecraft house style, the set uses no stickers — every detail is built or printed. It stands over 20 cm tall and roughly 11 cm wide and deep.
