LEGO is launching a brand-new interactive play system for one of the biggest franchises around: LEGO Pokémon SMART Play. The line lands 1 August 2026 — here are the five smart-brick-ready sets, 72155 to 72159, with prices, piece counts and what each one does.
What is LEGO SMART Play?
SMART Play is LEGO's new interactive system: a SMART Brick reacts to your build with lights, sounds and responses. There are 13 Pokémon SMART Play sets for August 2026 in total — all SMART Play compatible, but only two actually include the SMART Brick itself. The five sets below do not include the brick (you add one from a compatible set to bring them to life), and this wave ships without minifigures. All arrive 1 August 2026, initially in the US, UK, Germany, France, Poland and Australia.
72155 — Berry Bash with Bulbasaur and Bidoof
Pick berries, drop them in the blender and spin up a drink to power up Bulbasaur and Bidoof for battle.

72156 — Trainer's Buggy Adventure with Squirtle
A hinged-chassis off-road buggy for Squirtle, complete with a water-shooter and ammo store to put out the flames on a grill. Comes with a Trainer's controller, Poké Ball and a veggie burger.
