Of the 46 LEGO sets flagged as retiring soon that we can price today, 20 can still be bought below RRP — and the best buys are widely stocked sets at 35–50% off: Simba the Lion King Cub at €9.90 (−50%), Battle Bus at €62.99 (−37%) and Supply Llama at €25.99 (−35%).
The other end of the list shows what happens next. Once the mainstream stores sell out, the listings left are resellers above RRP: Batman: The Animated Series Gotham City (76271) is down to 2 stores at €396.54, 32% over its €299.99 RRP.

Still discounted: the buy window is open
Retiring-soon sets that at least 5 European stores still list, with the cheapest below RRP — deepest discount first.
If one of these is on your list, this is likely the cheap end of its life. Across every set we track, in-production sets sell at a median 29% below RRP at their cheapest store and retired sets at exactly RRP — the discount leaves with the stock.

This is the next stage: the big retailers have sold out and what remains is a few small shops and marketplace stock. If you still want one, compare across stores before paying — the gaps between the few remaining sellers are often large.
The signal to watch: how many stores still sell it
A falling store count is the clearest sign a set is about to disappear — earlier and more reliable than any official date. We measured it across 2026: how to tell a LEGO set is really about to disappear. The "LEGO.com" column is LEGO's own status on 3 October 2026: "Not available" means LEGO.com could not ship the set that day (sold out or on backorder), "No longer listed" that it has dropped out of LEGO's feed since we began recording it in October 2026, and a dash that the set is not in that feed — LEGO never put it there, or it was gone before we started.
About this list
LEGO does not publish an exact retirement date for most sets. The "retiring soon" flag comes from BrickEconomy's availability data; we only include sets we can also price today, which is why this list is shorter than the "every set retiring this year" round-ups elsewhere. Some older sets still carry a stale flag long after they left shelves, so the tables only include sets released from 2020 (discounted) and from 2022 (scarce). The full list, updated daily, is on our retiring soon page.
Frequently asked questions
Which LEGO sets are retiring soon?
46 sets carry the flag and a live price on 3 October 2026, including Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 (42115), BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR (42130), Transformers: Soundwave (10358), Chopper (C1-10P) Astromech Droid (75416) and New Republic E-Wing vs. Shin Hati’s Starfighter (75364).
Do LEGO sets get cheaper before they retire?
Often yes, while big retailers clear stock — 20 of the 46 flagged sets are below RRP today. Once they sell out, the remaining listings are usually resellers above RRP: 19 are already there.
Where can I find retiring LEGO sets cheapest?
In the first table above; on 3 October 2026 the lowest prices were mostly at Amazon.nl, Toys4kids12, Steinehelden and Joybuy.
Method: sets flagged "retiring soon" in BrickEconomy's availability data with a known European RRP and a live euro price. "Cheapest now" is the lowest euro price at any tracked store, refreshed within the last 21 days, on 3 October 2026; listings below 20% or above 500% of RRP are treated as errors and ignored. "Stores" counts LEGO.com once, however many of its country sites list the set. BrickPrice earns a small commission when readers buy through some retailer links, at no extra cost to you. Which store we name as cheapest is decided by price alone.
