A dash in the "New" column means fewer than three sealed sales were recorded — not enough to call a price.
What the top of the list has in common
One set accounts for four of the top 13. Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Princess Leia all come from 10123 Cloud City (2003) — the only set that ever included this Boba Fett with printed arms and legs. A complete Cloud City is worth what it is largely because of the four figures inside it.
Promotional figures hold five places. C-3PO, Shadow ARF Trooper, Darth Vader, Darth Revan, Boba Fett were never sold in a normal retail set — they were giveaways, polybags or random inserts. Scarcity was built in on day one.
"Rare" does not mean "old". Finch Dallow is from 2018 and Ahsoka Tano (adult) from 2016. What they share with the 2003 figures is that each appeared in exactly one set. Of the 25 figures here, 23 appear in a single set.
The spread inside one figure is enormous. The Cloud City Boba Fett sold for anywhere between €210 and €2,494 in the same window. Condition does that: cracked torsos, faded printing and missing jetpacks are the difference between the bottom and the top of the range. A median is a fair midpoint, not a price you are guaranteed.
What is not on this list
The solid-gold, sterling-silver and bronze figures LEGO gave away as contest prizes — the 14-carat gold C-3PO, the bronze and silver Boba Fetts — are generally regarded as the most valuable of all, but they change hands privately and too rarely to produce a price. We only rank figures with at least three recorded sales, so they are deliberately left out rather than guessed at.
How to check what a minifigure is worth
- Identify the exact variant. "Boba Fett" covers dozens of figures worth between a few euros and four figures. Head mould, printed arms and leg printing are what separate them.
- Look at sold prices, not listings. An asking price is a wish. Every figure page on BrickPrice shows the median, low and high of completed sales, for used and new separately.
- Read the range, not just the median. A wide range means condition matters a lot for that figure — inspect before you pay near the top.
