LEGO has revealed 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer, a new Ultimate Collector Series model of Darth Vader's flagship from The Empire Strikes Back. It runs to 6,130 pieces, measures 136 cm end to end, and carries a $799.99 US price. LEGO Insiders get early access on 1 October 2026, with general sale from 4 October.
At 136 cm this is the longest Star Wars model LEGO has ever produced — long enough that the display stand, not the shelf, becomes the limiting factor for most collectors.

The bounty hunter line-up
The seven minifigures are the reason this set matters beyond its size. Alongside Darth Vader, it includes Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM and Zuckuss — the first time LEGO has collected all six Empire Strikes Back bounty hunters in a single box.
That is a meaningful first. Several of those figures have historically been scarce and expensive on the secondary market, and a set that supplies all six at once changes the calculus for anyone who was chasing them individually.
A small bridge scene is included so the assembly can be posed as Vader briefing the hunters — the scene those figures come from.
The scale trick
LEGO ships a second, smaller Star Destroyer in the box. It isn't filler: a standard Imperial Star Destroyer next to the Executor is how the films conveyed the ship's scale, and reproducing that contrast on a shelf does more for the display than another 500 pieces of hull would.
The hull mounts directly onto its stand rather than resting on a separate cradle, which matters at 5 kg.
Value per brick
At the announced US price:
- $799.99 ÷ 6,130 = 13.1 cents per piece
That is expensive per brick, and typical for UCS. Large licensed display sets rarely beat 12 cents, and the price here is carrying seven minifigures, a large printed nameplate and an integrated stand. Judge this one on the subject and the figure line-up rather than on piece economy.
European pricing outlook
LEGO has published a US price only. A $799.99 set usually maps to a euro RRP somewhere in the €800–850 range, so expect something around there — but that is an expectation, not a confirmed figure, and euro pricing on flagship UCS sets has drifted upward relative to dollar pricing in recent years. We will publish the exact euro and per-country prices as soon as European retailers list it.
Gift with purchase
Buyers in the launch window are in line for 40897 Darth Vader's Lightsaber as a gift with purchase, running 1–7 October 2026 while stocks last. GWP promotions of this kind routinely sell through early, so the first days of the window are the safe ones.
