LEGO has revealed 11385 Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701™ Bridge, an Icons set whose piece count is the joke and the tribute at once: 1,701 pieces, matching the Enterprise's registry. Pre-orders are open now ahead of a 1 September 2026 release at $199.99, marking Star Trek's 60th anniversary.

Sixty years of boldly going
Star Trek premiered on NBC in 1966, with William Shatner's Captain Kirk leading the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 on a mission to "boldly go where no man has gone before" — a line that has outlived most of the television of its era. Six decades on it remains one of science fiction's most influential franchises, and LEGO's 1,701-piece count is a deliberate wink to fans who know the registry by heart.

What you build
The set recreates the Enterprise's two most-quoted interiors — the bridge and the transporter room — with a set of working play features:
- The captain's chair rocks back and forth, simulating combat impacts
- Turning a dial on the transporter cycles crew figures on the pad, staging a beam-out
- Pulling a lever opens and closes the turbolift doors
- The viewscreen shows a Klingon warrior, straight from the original series

The crew — eight minifigures
The set includes the full principal cast: Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, Dr McCoy, Chekov, Nurse Chapel and Scotty, plus four tribbles and accessories including Spock's Vulcan lyre, two Vulcan lirpa and a tricorder.
