LEGO has announced 76355 Batman Returns Batmobile, an adult-collector model of the Batmobile Michael Keaton drives in Tim Burton's 1992 film. It uses 2,269 pieces, measures 45 cm long, and costs $229.99, with release on 4 September 2026.
The headline is a mechanism rather than a size: this is the first LEGO Batmobile to build in the Batmissile transformation.

The Batmissile mechanism
Press a button on the centre of the body and the two side panels swing outward, shedding the car's bulk to expose the narrow Batmissile escape vehicle hidden inside. Additional pieces are supplied so the Batmissile can be finished and displayed on its own.
It's a genuinely unusual thing for LEGO to commit to in a display model — the film sequence is brief and rarely merchandised — and it means the set has two valid display states rather than one. The cockpit canopy also slides open, with a steering wheel and control panel detailed inside.
What's in the box beyond the car
One minifigure: the 1992 Keaton Batman, with a cape shaped for that costume. The display stand is printed with the film title, which is the usual signal that LEGO expects this to be shelved rather than played with.
Value per brick
At the announced US price:
- $229.99 ÷ 2,269 = 10.1 cents per piece
That is reasonable for a licensed adult set with a working mechanism. Licensed display models frequently run 11–13 cents; landing just above 10 while carrying a transformation gimmick and a large printed stand is fair rather than generous.
European pricing outlook
Only a US price has been published. LEGO typically maps a $229.99 set to a euro RRP around €230–250, so expect something in that band — an expectation, not a confirmed figure. We will publish exact euro and per-country pricing as soon as European retailers list it.
