LEGO has revealed 71053 LEGO Minifigures: Shrek Series, a 12-character blind-bag collection landing 1 September 2026 at $4.99 per pack — and it is the densest DreamWorks character line-up LEGO has produced.
Why Shrek, why now
DreamWorks' Shrek (2001) turned a swamp-dwelling ogre and a motormouth donkey into one of animation's most durable properties, spawning Shrek 2, Shrek the Third and Shrek Forever After — and a meme afterlife that has never really faded. A full collectible minifigure series is the natural next step.
