LEGO's new Pokémon SMART Play line has a second, bigger wave — plus the one set that actually powers it all. Following the five smaller starter sets, here are the five larger battle-and-adventure builds and 72164 Training House with Pikachu, the key set that includes the SMART Brick itself. All arrive 1 August 2026.

Start here: 72164 Training House with Pikachu
This is the one to buy first. 72164 Training House with Pikachu is a 400-piece interactive Pikachu tree-house — and crucially it includes a SMART Brick, a wireless charger and four SMART Tags. The SMART Brick is what brings the lights, sounds and reactions to life across every other SMART Play set, so this is the gateway of the range. Feed Pikachu a sandwich, hide it in the bushes or train against a dummy — each action triggers sound and light.
