LEGO has revealed 42234 Dodge Viper GTS-R, an 805-piece Technic sports car arriving 1 August 2026 at a US RRP of $64.99 — with a working V10, moving pistons and a differential under the clamshell.

The car behind the set
The Dodge Viper GTS-R was one of American racing's great characters through the 1990s and 2000s: brash, loud and powered by a monstrous 8-litre-plus V10. In competition it took multiple GT-class wins at the Le Mans 24 Hours, cementing its status as an all-American icon. Dodge has since retired the Viper, which only makes this tribute more welcome.

What the LEGO Technic version does
The 805-piece build captures the Viper's long-nosed, wide-hipped stance and layers in the working functions Technic fans expect:
- An openable hood revealing a V10 engine with moving pistons
- A differential on the rear axle
- Opening doors alongside the hood
- The GTS-R's signature oversized rear wing, faithfully recreated
Dimensions come in at over 8 cm high, 30 cm long and 13 cm wide.
